Topic:

Implicit Bias

Holly Wanzer is a founding attorney of Wanzer Edwards, PC where she focuses her practice in family law, including collaborative law, family mediation, parenting coordination and representation of children as a guardian ad litem.  She is a registered family mediator and trained parenting coordinator providing services to families facing the changing circumstances which accompany dissolution of marriage, custody and parenting time modifications, child support modifications and paternity determinations.  She serves as a guardian ad litem representing the interests of children in courts across central Indiana.  She passionately advocates for the best interests of children while at the same time seeking to shield them from the need to personally participate in the legal process.  Ms. Wanzer is the Chair of the Women in Law committee of the Indiana State Bar Association where she coordinates the Lady Justice program with Girl Scouts of Central Indiana. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Board of Directors of Violence Free Living.  She volunteers her time as a Guardian ad Litem in the Marion County Superior courts and with the Marion County Modest Means Mediation program.

Ann Knotek is a family law attorney, mediator, guardian ad litem, parenting coordinator, family arbitrator and trained in collaborative family law.  A solo practitioner in Brownsburg, Indiana, she has been a registered civil mediator since 2004 and a registered domestic relations mediator since 2010.  A sustaining member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Ann has been a member of the ISBA Women and the Law Committee since 2003 (chair, 2013) and is a member of the ISBA Civil Rights of Children Committee and Solo & Small Firm Conference Planning Committee.  She served as President of the Hendricks County Bar Association from 2013-2014 and on the ISBA Board of Governors from 2015-2016.
