Elevate your Career Success Toolkit - a Plan for Progress

Speaker:  Chasity Thompson Osborn

What resources are available to help advance a paralegal’s professional career? During this session, we will explore strategies to help create a professional plan of action. This document can assist you during various stages of your career. We will review resources and strategies to better leverage relationships and engagement opportunities. 

Chasity Thompson Osborn is passionate about community, connections, and professional development opportunities. She is the Director of Attorney Learning and Development at Taft Stettinius & Hollister, LLP, an Am100 law firm. With 20+ years of experience in legal and professional development, Chasity oversees firm-wide attorney training and development in partnership with leaders across the firm and assists associates with career development.

Prior to joining Taft, Chasity worked in higher education, most recently serving as assistant dean of student and assistant dean of professional development at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.  Also, she was a judicial law clerk to former Chief Justice Randall T. Shepard. Chasity remains committed to mentoring and facilitating connections to strengthen advancement opportunities.

Chasity has received numerous awards for her work. Her accolades include the Empowered Leader award, Outstanding Educator award, Rabb Emison Diversity award (twice), and the Indiana Lawyer’s Leadership in Law award (twice) among many others.

Chasity is a proud HBCU graduate, and she is active in numerous professional and civic organizations.  Chasity enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and listening to music.
