    The Bailiff provides assistance assisting with conducting court sessions and assists in the operation of the Court.  Duties include but may not be limited to: Assists with conducting jury trials; prepares pleadings and monitors electronic court files for court sessions and/or the Judge's rulings; with other court staff, will process orders, schedule hearings, and complete other tasks on the Court's case management system; this position will require that court telephones are answered and responds to questions from Court representatives and the general public; assists with the effective management of the Court calendar through confirmation of hearings with attorneys and pro se litigants; assists with other duties and responsibilities as needed.

    Reporting to the Vice President of Legal, the Contracts Paralegal will perform duties related to the company’s commercial contracts as assigned.  Duties include, but not limited to: Draft, review, edit, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts; manage/monitor the lifespans of the company’s contracts from intake to renewal or termination; provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual and business issues; monitor/maintain the company’s contract and vendor management systems; identify/implement opportunities for automation and improvements in the company’s contract preparation, approval, and management procedures; ensure all contracts are executed in accordance with the company’s policies; and any other duties assigned by the Contracts Counsel or designated managing legal counsel.

    A boutique law firm located on the northside of Indianapolis that focuses on Creditor's Rights, Commercial and Individual Restructuring, Insolvency, and Bankruptcy, is looking to hire a full-time paralegal with at least three years of experience.  Job duties include but are not limited to: Draft, prepare, and file court filings and documents in state and federal courts; provide assistance to Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee with reviewing bankruptcy filings, drafting related court documents, and monitoring the status of cases; research case law and review local, state, and federal rules; conduct searches on the Secretary of State page, including business entity and UCC-1 searches; file documents with the Secretary of State, including UCC-1 and business entity formation documents; prepare exhibits and folders for hearings, depositions, and trials; prepare bankruptcy pleadings for chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases; and assist with general administrative office tasks.
